Hi and thank you for visiting my site,

Here are some examples of my work, I am interested in all forms of art, all mediums and all formats, I feel an artist should not limit himself to just one medium. Art is all around us, in all walks of life, in all situations. An artist can create whatever he or she likes, create a story, a situation, a moment in time. I like to explore surrealism as in “Boules Farcies” and “Petits Poids”, to create something not possible in real time, but, to make it seem possible.

This is what I hope I have achieved in my “Still Life” paintings, “A moment in time”.

I have been painting for most of my life. I don’t consider myself just an artist who paints, but a complete artist. My work can involve sculpture, collage and structure. I work in all types of materials, from watercolour, acrylics, oil and many synthetic paints to wood, metal and plastics. I try to create with these paintings a moment in time, I am greatly influenced by Spanish and Italian painters of the 16th and 17th centuries, to give warmth and ambience to my subject, an every day subject of life, a moment in time, which is about to, or has just happened. If you find olive oil and garlic figure often in my paintings it is because these are the objects together with the vegetables and other foodstuffs that surround me in my house in the French countryside.
